A WITNESS WE TALKED TO SAYS THE ACCIDENT WAS THE RESULT OF A POLICE CHASE. ONE POLICE WAS CHASING THE CAR AND JUST CUT THE CAR AND THE OTHER CAR JUST CRASHED AND THE CAR JUST ROLLED OVER. According to Milwaukee police, the SUV was wanted in connection with an armed robbery

According to the Milwaukee Police Department, eight people were arrested on July 3 during a chase near Green Bay Avenue and Olive Street in Milwaukee that ended in a crash. Police said the SUV was wanted in connection with an armed robbery. Shortly after 5 p.m., officers attempted to stop the SUV near McGovern Park. A chase then began. It ended when the suspect vehicle collided with another SUV near Green Bay Avenue and Olive Street. The crash caused the suspect vehicle to flip onto its roof. The driver of the suspect vehicle, a 20-year-old man, as well as a 20-year-old woman, a 19-year-old woman, an 18-year-old woman, two 18-year-old men, a 17-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl were arrested and taken to the hospital with non-fatal injuries. No other injuries were reported. The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office has filed charges.
