Suspect arrested after attempted break-in at Drake’s Toronto home | News

Toronto police were dispatched to Drake’s mansion around 2 p.m. after a person “attempted to gain entry to the property,” according to a police spokesman Ashley Visser said.

Under the law, “authorities may take a person in custody to a doctor for an examination” if law enforcement believes the person “appears to be suffering from a mental disorder” that could result in serious bodily harm.

This is the latest incident that occurred at The 6 God’s house. On Tuesday (May 7), gunmen in an unknown vehicle fired shots at the entrance to Drake’s home. The security guard who was hit was taken to a local hospital to be treated for serious injuries and remains under treatment there.

“I cannot comment on the motive at this point because it is still so early, but as soon as we receive information we will share it with you,” Krawczyk said at a news conference.

The incidents at Drake’s house occurred during his stay embroiled in a bitter rap battle with Kendrick Lamar. So far, Drake has released several diss tracks including “Push Ups,” “Family Matters,” and “The Heart Part 6.” Lamar responded with “Euphoria,” “6:16 in LA,” “Meet the Grahams” and “Not Like Us.”

According to Toronto law enforcement, it is too early to say whether the incidents are related to his fight with Lamar.
