Two people arrested on drug and weapons charges June 26 after kidnapping and torture of Searcy resident reported | News

Last Wednesday, Williams was spotted and a traffic stop was initiated on US Highway 67/167 northbound at mile marker 58 by the Central Arkansas Drug Task Force, Cabot Narcotics Unit, Arkansas State Police Troop B, 2nd Judicial Drug Task Force, Arkansas Community Corrections Intensive Supervision Program and the White County Sheriff’s Office.

Williams reportedly had 1 pound of methamphetamine and about 1,000 fentanyl-laced pills in his possession, Wells said in the statement. “Shortly thereafter,” a search warrant was executed by Searcy’s Special Response Team at Williams’ Beebe residence and 16 firearms, including three stolen, two defaced and one “with a switch that made it fully automatic,” were reportedly seized, along with about 3 pounds of meth, 600 fentanyl pills, 1 ounce of cocaine, 2 pounds of marijuana, two tasers and several digital scales and various accessories.

Tony Robinson was arrested following execution of the search warrant and preliminarily charged with Trafficking in a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl) (Class Y Felony), Concurrent Possession of Drugs and Firearms (Class Y Felony), Operating a Drug Establishment (Class C Felony), and Receiving Receivables (Class D Felony).

Williams was preliminarily charged with two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance, namely fentanyl (Class Y felony); two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance, namely methamphetamine (Class Y felony); simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms (Class Y felony); 16 counts of possession of firearms by certain persons (Class B felony); two counts of possession of defaced firearms (Class D felony); maintaining a drug premises (Class C felony); three counts of receiving stolen goods (Class D felony); possession of a machine gun (Class A felony) during the commission of a felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia (Class A misdemeanor).

Robinson was being held at the White County Detention Center on Friday with bail set at $250,000, while Williams was also still incarcerated with bail set at $1 million.

“Additional charges are pending and the investigation is ongoing,” Wells wrote.
