Responsibilities of the Cashier:

• Processes customer purchases, performs general cleaning, and neatly replenishes shelves and merchandise displays
• Provides exceptional customer service and assists customers with their shopping experience
• Provides feedback to management on all products, inventory losses, scanning errors and general problems
• Participates in store inventory according to guidelines and monitors inventory for accuracy
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures to minimize losses

Qualifications:

• You must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Ability to perform general cleaning tasks in accordance with company standards
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Effective time management
• Knowledge of the company’s products and services

• Salesperson and cashier: Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately
• Store Associates and Cashiers: Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages. • Store Associates and Stock Workers: Ability to safely and properly operate equipment including electric/manual jacks, floor scrubbers and box compactor.

Starting salary: $16.50 per hour
