Six people were killed and 41 injured in Russian attacks in Ukraine over the past day, regional authorities said on July 1.

Russia targeted a total of eleven Ukrainian oblasts – Chernihiv, Mykolaiv, Luhansk, Kirovohrad, Zaporizhia, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Kherson, Kharkiv and Donetsk. Casualties were reported in the last five regions.

In Donetsk OblastFour people were killed and 20 injured last day, the governor said Vadim Filashkin.

The Russian attack injured six people and damaged 21 houses and two cars in the village of Tsukuryne, Pokrovsk district. Two people were injured in the attacks on the town of Niu-York and the village of Yampil.

In Bakhmut district, one person was killed and three others injured in the city of Toretsk, while in Sieversk municipality, one person was killed and another injured.

Russian forces attacked the town of Ukrainsk in Pokrovsk District on the morning of July 1, killing at least two and injuring at least eight people, according to governor.

The attack was carried out with a Uragan rocket launcher and targeted a residential area. At least 10 residential buildings and an administrative building were damaged.

In Kharkiv Oblastthe Russian military attacked the regional center with FAB-500 glide bombs, Governor Oleh Syniehubov reported.

The attack left one person dead and destroyed eight vehicles parked in front of Nova Poshta, Ukraine’s largest private postal operator.

At least ten people, including an eight-month-old child, were injured in the attack.

In Kherson OblastRussian forces attacked 24 settlements, including the regional center of Kherson. One person was killed and another injured, the governor said Oleksandr Prokudin.

Although the attack did not hit critical infrastructure, the governor said falling debris damaged three houses, several administrative buildings, a warehouse and 16 vehicles.

In Dnipropetrovsk OblastSeven people were injured in the attack on the Dnipro regional center. Among the victims is a 15-year-old boy, said the local Military administration reported. A woman was taken to hospital.

In the residential area, a shop as well as several houses and apartment buildings were damaged.
