Sexual harassment case of BTS’ Jin under preliminary investigation, Big Hit contacted

On June 18, the Songpa Police Station in Seoul informed Korean media outlet TenAsia that the recent sexual harassment case involving BTS’s Jin was in the preliminary investigation stage.

They added that it is also important to consider the point of view of the victim (in this case, Jin himself) and are therefore in contact with Jin’s agency, Big Hit.

On the other hand, an incident was reported to the police in which a fan attempted to sexually harass BTS’s Jin.

Notably, on the 13th, Jin held a hugging event with 1,000 fans as part of BTS FESTA 2024. While most fans hugged Jin in an orderly manner, one fan suddenly tried to kiss Jin and made other sudden actions, which sparked outrage among BTS fans.
