Accident on Long Island: 4 dead and 9 injured after car crash in nail salon in Deer Park

DEER PARK, Long Island (WABC) – Four people died and nine were injured when a minivan crashed into a nail salon on Long Island, sources said.

It happened Friday afternoon at Hawaii Nail and Spa at 796 Grand Blvd. in a shopping center in Deer Park.

According to official reports, the driver of the minivan apparently drove through the entire building. The cause of the accident is still unknown.

All deceased victims were in the nail salon.

The driver was taken to hospital and was partially conscious. The trapped people were freed and taken to hospital.
