Taney and Stone County arrest 10 people for child sex trafficking

Taney County and Stone County, Missouri. – Two counties recently arrested ten people for child sex trafficking.

On June 24 and 25, investigators and officers from the Stone County Sheriff’s Office, Taney County Sheriff’s Office, Branson Police Department, COMET Drug Task Force, Missouri Attorney General’s Office Human Trafficking Task Force, and the Pathways Project joined forces in a multi-agency Internet sting operation. Agencies conducted several anti-human trafficking operations in Stone and Taney counties, as well as the Branson area.

Investigators contacted several commercial sex providers and determined that several of the employees were victims of human trafficking. They arrested 10 people for solicitation of child sexual abuse, second-degree sex trafficking, solicitation of prostitution, promotion of prostitution, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Three of those arrested were Nayib Saldana, Dalton Parton and Christian Diewert, who are charged with child sex trafficking. Mariko Kwizera is charged with child enticement. All four people are being held without bail.
