Double murder in Lincoln County under investigation

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Detectives are investigating a double homicide and serious injury to a third person. The incident occurred overnight at an address on Springs East Road. Two people were found dead inside the home. A third person is on a ventilator at Caromont-Gaston.

Officers have arrested a suspect. The identity of the victims has not been released by police.
