Princess Anne could suffer ‘serious’ injuries after horse accident | Entertainment

Princess Anne suffered injuries which royal experts say “could be serious” after she was recently kicked by a horse. The Princess Royal, 73, spent a second night in hospital in Bristol after suffering minor head injuries and a concussion. Royal expert Michael Cole believes the overnight hospital stay indicates the injuries are “no small matter”. Cole added: “A concussion is no small matter at any age, but at the age of 73 it could be serious.” Emergency services were dispatched to the princess’s Gatcombe Park estate and she was transferred to Southmead Hospital in Bristol. “Her Royal Highness remains at Southmead Hospital in Bristol for observation, as a precautionary measure, and is expected to make a full and speedy recovery,” a statement from Buckingham Palace said.
