Sterling man arrested for inappropriate contact with girl

A Sterling man was arrested after police said he had inappropriate contact with a girl.

According to a Sterling Police Department press release, in May they received a report of a man having inappropriate contact with a girl. After investigating and gathering evidence, Don L. Campos, 50, of Sterling, was arrested on Friday, June 21, for aggravated assault (in a public place).

Campos was released with a summons to appear in court at a later date.
