‘Heavily intoxicated’ woman attacked child and bit officer in Wildwood Crest, police say – NBC10 Philadelphia

Police in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey, have arrested a Philadelphia woman who is accused of attacking a 10-year-old boy at a motel pool last week while “highly intoxicated,” fighting with his father and then biting a police officer.

According to police, 43-year-old Fallan Turner of Philadelphia was arrested following an incident that occurred on Monday, June 17, at a motel in the 6200 block of Ocean Avenue.

That day, around 2:29 p.m., police responded to a report that Turner was allegedly “very drunk” and “lost control in the pool,” officers wrote in a social media post.

According to police, witnesses told officers that Turner grabbed an unrelated 10-year-old boy at the pool and spun him around in the pool and submerged him under water. When the boy’s father tried to intervene, Turner jumped on the man’s back and grabbed him inappropriately, officers said.

Police also claim that Turner became “aggressive” while speaking to officers and was arrested.

However, while she was being handcuffed, Turner punched a police officer in the face and resisted his control, police officers said.

During their later interview at police headquarters, officers claimed that Turner continued to be combative toward officers and bit one of them on the hand.

However, no officer was seriously injured by Turner, officials said.

Turner was arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child, aggravated assault on a police officer, resisting arrest and other offenses.
