Neighborhood dispute with shooting in Mechanicsville under investigation

MECHANICSVILLE, Maryland. – On Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at approximately 8:27 p.m., officers with the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call in the 27000 block of Yowaiski Mill Road in Mechanicsville, MD for a report of an altercation between neighbors involving shots fired.

Witnesses reported an altercation between two people and gunshots. No injuries or property damage were reported.
