Gordon Ramsay injured in bicycle accident in Connecticut

World-famous chef Gordon Ramsay was hospitalized this week after a bicycle accident in Connecticut.

In a video posted on X (formerly known as Twitter), Ramsay said he was taken to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London.

“It really shook me up and honestly I’m really happy to be here,” Ramsay said in the video.

The chef thanked the hospital for its care and urged spectators to wear helmets. “That’s why I’m here today,” Ramsay said.

Ramsay did not provide any further details about the accident.
