Lancaster County teenager found dead in river

LANCASTER, Pennsylvania – The Lancaster County Coroner’s Office confirmed that a 19-year-old died while swimming in a river on Saturday.

According to the coroner’s office, investigators arrived at the Susquehanna River in Martic Township at 7:24 p.m. to meet with police and rescue personnel who had found a young man in the river.

The man, identified as William QuiQui, 19, of Lancaster, reportedly did not resurface while swimming with friends and was pronounced dead at 9:11 p.m.

A preliminary investigation revealed no suspicious circumstances and an autopsy has been scheduled.
