One person injured in car crash on Broad Street on Friday evening

(WJET/WFXP) – Reports of an accident on Broad Street late Friday night.

There was a car crash in the area of ​​the 2000 block of Broad Street near McDonald’s and Burger King that was first reported around 11:30 p.m. Friday night.

According to reports from the scene, the vehicle left the road, passed traffic signs and struck the wall of the Bayfront Connector overpass.

One person was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The police are still investigating the accident.
