2 in hospital after car accident in White Hall

WHITE HALL, W.Va. (WBOY) — A Marion County 911 Center official confirmed that U.S. 250/Fairmont Avenue in White Hall has reopened following a one-car crash Tuesday afternoon that left two people hospitalized.

WHITE HALL, W.Va. (WBOY) — Two people were hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Route 250/Fairmont Avenue in White Hall closed the road.

According to a Marion County 911 Center official, emergency responders were notified of a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 250 near Wood’s Boat House & Power Sports at around 2:57 p.m.

When emergency crews arrived on scene, they found that a Toyota 4Runner and a Ford F-150 had collided, leaving at least one person trapped in one vehicle. Two of those involved in the crash were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The official said U.S. 250 has been closed since 3:50 p.m. and could not give an estimate as to when it would reopen.

Crews from the White Hall Police Department, Marion County EMS and Valley Volunteer Fire Department responded to this emergency call.
