Rathdrum man and woman arrested after SWAT raid in Kootenai County

A 60-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man from Rathdrum were arrested on Wednesday afternoon on numerous charges.

KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho – A Rathdrum man and woman were arrested Wednesday afternoon on several charges.

According to the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office, officers, with assistance from the Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team and the Coeur d’Alene Police Department, executed a search warrant at a home in the 11000 block of West Wyoming Avenue in Kootenai County.

Donna K. Carrico was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for arraignment on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), and possession of paraphernalia.

Michael J. Carrico was also arrested for possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl), possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), and possession of paraphernalia.

The sheriff’s office said several weapons were seized from the home and that additional suspects may face charges for similar crimes at a later date.
