Lee is represented by his defense attorney Phil Tracy.

“His world is obviously turned upside down. He has lived a quiet life in California with no crime and no incidents. Like everyone else, he is mentally exhausted at this point. On the other hand, the day of reckoning is coming. We will have to deal with it,” Tracy said.

According to Tracy, Lee was attacked in prison after his first arrest for the rape and was “terrified” of returning there.

“It’s a sad case in every way – for the victim, for him,” Tracy said.
