Police in Glasgow investigate accident involving entrapment and personal injury

GLASGOW, Kentucky – Glasgow police responded to a crash Tuesday that left two people injured and potentially trapped.

According to police, a 2005 Volkswagen driven by a minor female was traveling westbound on Glenview Drive and collided head-on with a 2006 Pontiac driven by Wanda Staples.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts.

Barren/Metcalfe EMS treated and transported both drivers to TJ Samson Hospital for injuries sustained in the collision.

The female cub was taken to Norton Healthcare for further treatment.

The accident was investigated by Officer John Wallen, assisted by Barren/Metcalfe EMS and the Glasgow Fire Department.
