Car crashes into stereo in Charlotte, North Carolina

The incident occurred before 5am on Wednesday at Discount Car Audio on Milton Road.

CHARLOTTE, NC – A car crashed into a car radio store in east Charlotte early Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred before 5 a.m. at Discount Car Audio, near the intersection of Milton Road and The Plaza. According to Medic, no one was injured in the incident.

The store’s facade was badly damaged by the impact, with windows and doors broken. Tape was placed around the front of the building to keep people away from the store. Stereo equipment, including subwoofers and speaker boxes, was scattered around the parking lot.

WCNC Charlotte has asked Charlotte-Mecklenburg police for details on the incident, but so far CMPD has not responded to that request. It is unclear if anyone was arrested or if investigators have identified a suspect.
