As summer approaches, coasts are preparing for the impacts of hurricanes.

Although the Atlantic hurricane season only began three days ago, there are already many rumors about its possible activity.

Those living along the Delaware and New Jersey coasts need to prepare and be aware that the coming months could be nerve-wracking, experts say.

Fortunately, beach replenishment has helped prepare the coasts.

Since the beaches are visited by tens of thousands of tourists every summer, their maintenance is crucial.

Kimberly from Stockton University says, “Nature helps our coasts in its own way during the summer months.”

The coastal cities now have to play the long game and wait to see how the atmosphere develops and how the season unfolds.
