According to arrest reports, a U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer was conducting routine cabin searches and discovered videos of suspected child abuse on passengers’ cell phones.

The Miami-Dade police then took over the investigation and arrested the two men.

The reports did not indicate which cruise line the men worked for or which ship they were on.

Both men were taken to jail and later appeared in court, where Miami-Dade Judge Mindy Glazer set bail for each count at $2,500.

But according to records, Dana and Karnawan, who are reportedly from Indonesia, were held behind bars due to an immigration ban.
