1 woman killed, 5 others injured in multi-car crash on Old Bridge Rt. 9

OLD BRIDGE, NJ – A 31-year-old Manalapan woman was killed and five others seriously injured in a serious multi-vehicle crash late Saturday night on Rt. 9 in Old Bridge.

The accident occurred at 1:05 a.m. Sunday in the area of ​​Rt. 9 and Ferry Road and was a pile-up, police said.

One car involved was a BMW. The driver was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in critical condition. A passenger in the BMW, Kristina Godich, 31, of Manalapan, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another car involved was a Ford Mustang with four occupants, all of whom were taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and are in stable condition as of Sunday.

All other drivers and passengers involved in the accident were treated and released on site.
