Houston Zoo Ranked Among Top 5 Most Instagrammable Zoos, Study Finds

The Houston Zoo was ranked No. 4 with 173,334 hashtags, behind a zoo in New York and two zoos in California. Bonus Finder searched several hashtags related to the Houston Zoo, including #houstonzoo, #houstonzoolights, and #houstonzoo2016.

The ranking was part of a study involving several rankings, including the most Instagrammable landmarks in the United States and the most Instagrammable places in each state.

The Houston Zoo prides itself on having “the highest standards of animal care” and supports 49 wildlife conservation projects in 27 countries, according to the zoo’s website. The zoo also offers several exhibits such as the African Forest, Bird Habitats, Insect House, McNair’s Elephant Habitat Area, Kathrine G. McGovern Texas Wetlands and more.
