State police investigate death after disturbance alarm in Deep River – NBC Connecticut

State police are investigating the discovery of a dead person in Deep River.

According to state police, officers were dispatched to Deep River shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Saturday following a report of a disturbance.

When the police arrived, they found a body on the scene.

The identity of the dead man has not yet been confirmed, police said.

According to state police, a suspect was taken into custody in Massachusetts in connection with the incident. It is not clear what charges the suspect is being held on.
