Police said emergency responders were dispatched to the scene for a medical emergency call. Upon arrival, officers discovered an unconscious man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, believed to be in his mid-20s, was taken to hospital where he later died from his injuries. Investigators said they found a single bullet casing near the house, indicating the use of a firearm in the incident. No suspects have been identified at this time. However, police officials said they had conducted interviews and were in touch with the victim’s family. Omaha police classified the incident as a homicide and the investigation is ongoing.
