Virginia man killed in traffic accident in Berkeley County

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A Virginia man was killed in a collision in Bonneau Wednesday evening, the coroner’s office said.

Clifford Crain III, 61, of Fincastle, died from injuries sustained in a collision on N Highway 17A, the Berkeley County Coroner’s Office said.

Coroner Kelly Kraus said he was the driver and only occupant in the vehicle.

The Berkeley County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating this incident.
