Air quality warning for Monday

An air quality warning goes into effect for the El Paso region at 12 p.m. and remain in effect until Monday at 9 p.m.

Atmospheric conditions favor an increase in ozone levels in the afternoon.

If you fall into the sensitive group category, be sure to check the air quality before going outside, especially during the heat of the day. Small children and older people should avoid spending time outdoors.

You can reduce ozone pollution by walking or cycling instead of driving a car.
