Man arrested for three murders in Jackson

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police have arrested a man in connection with three murders.

Detective Tommie Brown said 27-year-old Jimal Tarvin was arrested by the Jackson Police Department (JPD) Action Team on Friday, May 10, at approximately 9:30 p.m.

Brown said Tarvin had an additional warrant for shooting into an occupied vehicle.

The victims of the three murders were identified as Travis Burrell, Jamie Hoard and Nicole Garrett.
