Three friends died in a car accident with a parked truck

Patna: Three persons, who were close friends, died in an accident on the NH under Gopalpur police station in Naugachia in Bhagalpur district on Friday morning. The three used to run a roadside dhaba in Purnia. They travel to Bhagalpur. Gopalpur SHO, Neeraj Kumar, said, “The accident occurred around 4 am when their car rammed into the parked truck. The three friends – Sanoj Yadav (30) and Chandrahas Yadav (32) from Naugachia and Prabhakar Yadav (28) from Khagaria – died on the spot. They jointly ran a dhaba at Shiv Mandir Chowk in Bhawanipur town. “The impact of the collision was so severe that the car had to be pulled out from under the parked truck using a crane. The bodies were sent to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. “The post-mortem will confirm whether all three were drunk or not. The truck was also seized,” the SHO added.
