Authorities identify person killed in crash on Route 27 in Franklin Township

Authorities in Somerset County have identified the person killed in a crash on Route 27 in Franklin Township Thursday morning.

Kristen Drayton, 31, died about 9:30 a.m. after crashing into a tree near Reler Lane.

According to police, the contributing factors to the crash are being investigated by the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Collision Analysis Reconstruction Team and the Franklin Township Police Department’s Traffic Safety Bureau.

The accident shut down part of Route 27 for four hours.
