1 dead after two-vehicle collision in Orangeburg County

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC (WOLO) – A collision in Orangeburg County on Thursday left one person dead.

The May 9 collision occurred around 10:40 a.m. on US-21 at WaterSpring Road, about 4 miles north of Orangeburg.

State troopers say a Kenworth truck was traveling south on US-21 while a Honda Accord was traveling north on US-21 when both collided.

The driver of the Honda Accord died at the scene from injuries sustained in the collision.
