Suspicious death in Northeast Portland leads to investigation

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Officials are investigating the death of a man in Portland’s Eliot neighborhood Thursday evening.

Shortly after 5 p.m., Portland police officers responded to reports of the man found dead in a home in the 2800 block of Northeast Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.


Authorities say forensics officers found at the scene prompted a response from homicide investigators. The death is considered suspicious.

No further information, including the victim’s identity, has been released at this time.
