‘Best-documented’ UFO encounter nearly left man burned to death: Falcon Lake incident explained

Did this man come too close to an encounter with aliens?

Given the recent spate of government revelations and investigations, including an ongoing galactic game of 20 questions to determine if UFOs or UAPs are in any way connected to aliens, the prevailing opinion, according to the recent Pentagon report, is that most of the sightings observed are not necessarily alien-related. Instead, these “spacecraft” were likely connected to secret projects of groups and governments here on the planet.

No matter what you believe about the nature of “flying saucers,” there is one sighting that has been called the “most convincing” UFO encounter in history. According to CBC, the Falcon Lake incident in Canada is being called the “best-documented UFO case” 50 years after the actual event.

The story has been covered in books and shows, including Unsolved mysteries at some point, but it dates back to May 1967 in the woods of Falcon Lake in Manitoba, Canada. “I remember seeing him in bed. He didn’t look well at all. He looked pale and haggard,” Stan Michalak said of his father. “When I walked into the bedroom, there was a tremendous stench in the room, like a really horrible smell of sulfur and burning engine. It was everywhere and it was coming out of his pores. It was bad.”

Michalak was only nine years old at the time, but he documented the incident as co-author of When they appeara book co-written with UFO researcher Chris Rutkowski. The book was published in 2017 but recently resurfaced due to online coverage in media outlets such as the Daily Star.

According to the report, Stefan Michalak was in the woods when he came across a pair of “cigar-shaped objects” nearby that changed color as they floated before taking the shape of a disk. Michalak began drawing what he saw, and the images made their way onto the internet years later, before attempting to get closer to the object.

“He couldn’t understand words or anything, but he heard at least two beings inside communicating with each other. He called out and offered mechanical help if they needed it,” said the It’s getting strange Podcast recently described it in detail. “As soon as he touches the craft, his fingertips start to melt, it’s so hot it literally melts the gloves he’s wearing… He gets hit by a gust of air that pushes him backwards and sets his shirt and hat on fire. He stumbles backwards, pushed by this wave of air and gas, and tries to take off his burning shirt and hat.”

The report goes on to say that he showed symptoms of radiation sickness and had “severe burns” on his upper body that looked like a grid or bingo card. After being released from the hospital, he returned to the site to retrieve his “charred shirt, a melted glove and tools that he had left behind.” He stuck to his story until his death in 1999 and never said he had encountered little green men.
