Fresno man sentenced to 29 years in prison for sexually abusing children and dog

Gage Mason, 20, of Fresno was sentenced to 29 years in prison on Friday for sexually abusing several children and a dog, the Fresno District Attorney’s Office said in a press release.

Mason pleaded guilty to all counts and aggravating circumstances on June 5. In addition to his prison sentence, Mason must register as a sex offender.

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office initiated its investigation on April 5, 2023, after receiving reports of sexual assault of a minor. Mason was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail on April 19, 2023.

The prosecution was led by Assistant District Attorney Justine Keel, who was assisted by District Attorney Investigator Janie Pulido.
