Five people arrested at the same time after authorities found drugs and firearms on them | News

Five people were arrested after authorities found seven firearms and several small bags of cocaine in a residence where the individuals were staying, according to a police report from the Victoria County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the arrest report, Darian Luna, Devin Padierna, Kristine Sanchez, Deanne Padierna and Christina Soliz were all arrested for engaging in organized crime, possession of marijuana, manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance and theft of a firearm.

On July 9, officers from the United States Marshal Service Task Force went to a residence to execute an arrest warrant for Darian Luna and Devin Padierna. The residents of the home refused to leave when officers attempted to execute the warrants. According to the arrest report, officers said they heard a lot of movement inside the home.

As officers approached the home, the front door opened and all five people exited the home, according to the report. After officers obtained a search warrant for the home, they found two firearms, marijuana and several small baggies of cocaine in the attic. According to the arrest report, officers also found a digital scale and empty baggies used to package drugs.

Authorities searched the vehicles at the residence and found five firearms and a backpack containing a large bag of synthetic marijuana in one of the trunks, the police report said. Luna was charged with seven counts of aggravated possession of a weapon, according to the police report.

All five people were arrested and taken to the Victoria County Jail.
