Lil Reese claims that a woman who accused him of rape allegedly stole $25,000 from him

Earlier this month, Lil Reese was arrested in Los Angeles after a woman accused him of raping her in a hotel. Boosie Badazz first shared the news with his social media followers last week, although the reason for his arrest was unclear at the time. More details of the incident surfaced online days later. The woman reportedly called police from a phone in the hotel lobby at around 3:30 a.m. A few hours later, Lil Reese was taken into custody.

The Chicago rapper was released on $100,000 bail, online records show, and quickly denied the allegations on social media. “My sister Ree Ree made up and approved the whole story,” he wrote. “Damn I look like I don’t know any better and that’s exactly how y’all post this sh*t, get the case dismissed on my court date, they do anything for influence and try to come back and try again.”

Lil Reese’s lawyer demands the money back

Now Lil Reese is accusing the woman of stealing money from him, and his legal team is doing everything they can to get it back. He claims that after authorities arrived at the scene, they found $25,000 cash in a pair of sweatpants in her suitcase. He also claims that they confiscated the cash when she couldn’t identify the amount.

“At the time of his arrest, he had approximately $25,000 in cash on him,” reads a letter from attorney Max B. Gorby. “This money was not accounted for as his property, nor was he given a receipt for it.” Gorby further demanded that whoever has the money turn it over to either Lil Reese or his manager.
