MARTA police officer injured in car accident

ATLANTA, Georgia (Atlanta News First) – MARTA police are investigating an overnight accident involving one of their officers in southwest Atlanta.

It happened near the railroad tracks at the intersection of West Whitehall Street and Lee Street.

According to Atlanta police, the MARTA officer involved in the accident was taken to the hospital.
