Agricultural plane crashes in Morehouse Parish, one dead

BONITA, Louisiana (KNOE) – One person is dead in a plane crash near Dummie Line Road, according to the Morehouse Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Mike Tubbs said police responded today (July 11) at approximately 2:07 p.m. after receiving reports of two planes crashing. One agricultural plane crashed while the other landed safely.

MPSO and the Federal Aviation Administration are currently on site. The National Transportation Safety Board, which will lead the investigation, is expected to arrive tomorrow.
