MAN FROM NEW ULM INJURED IN INCIDENT IN SHIRLEY’S PARK

A New Ulm man was injured in a crash in Shirley’s Park near New Ulm Wednesday night. The Brown County Sheriff’s Office received several 911 calls at 6:25 p.m. reporting a person had been struck by a tractor. The initial investigation indicates that 57-year-old Brian Domeier was operating an Allis Chalmers tree removal tractor. He was standing in front of the tractor’s right rear tire when it jumped into forward gear and struck Domeier. The tractor continued driving, striking a nearby camper trailer and two Chevrolet Equinoxes. Domeier was flown from the scene by helicopter. The severity of his injuries is unknown. Another person, 72-year-old Gloria Voth of Harlingen, Texas, suffered minor injuries when she was struck by an unknown object. The incident remains under investigation.
