Upper Darby police are investigating an overnight shooting in the 7100 block of Penarth Avenue that resulted in several streets in the residential area being closed.

Police said State Road remains open, but delays may occur.

There was no information on the condition of the victim in the incident, which was reported around 2:38 a.m.
