Police car involved in fatal crash leads to road closure on Bear Valley Road in Apple Valley – VVNG.com

APPLE VALLEY, California (VVNG.com) – A section of Bear Valley Road in the town of Apple Valley is currently closed due to a traffic accident involving a police patrol car and a sedan.

The incident occurred on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at approximately 4:04 p.m. on Bear Valley Road, west of Kiowa Road.

Firefighters from the Apple Valley Fire Protection District arrived at the scene. Unfortunately, one person from the red four-door sedan was pronounced dead, while the officer suffered minor injuries.

The road is expected to be closed for four to five hours while the accident investigation takes place.
