2 Cold Scorpio arrested after stabbing

Former WCW, ECW and WWE star 2 Cold Scorpio was arrested after being involved in a violent stabbing incident.

According to TMZ, Scorpio (real name Charles Scaggs) was arrested at 3:40 a.m. on June 15 after allegedly stabbing a man during a fight at a gas station. The incident occurred at Love’s Travel Stop in Kansas City, Missouri.

Authorities said Scaggs told them he was working security for the establishment when he saw a man lighting a cigarette inside the store. He claimed he then told the man he was not allowed to smoke inside, at which point the man became hostile. Scaggs claimed the man then threatened him and they went outside, where he stabbed the man in self-defense during a scuffle.

Police found the man – who denies lighting a cigarette in the store – lying on the ground bleeding from his head, chest, buttocks, legs and stomach. He was then taken to a local hospital (while in and out of consciousness).

The man claims that Scaggs was the aggressor in this situation.

The former ECW World Television Champion has since been charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action, both felonies.

Scaggs was released from jail on bail and pleaded not guilty. He is due back in court next month.
