Two British Airways flight attendants suspended for making fun of 15th stewardess’ weight

TWO British Airways flight attendants have been suspended for making fun of a 15-pound stewardess’s weight.

The couple is reportedly Goal the hurtful comments were shown – posted in an employee Whatsapp group to which she did not belong – by a concerned colleague.

The devastated stewardess, who is in her early 20s, is said to have been afraid to go to work after reading the taunts.

As The Sun on Sunday has learned, the behavior of five other flight attendants in the same WhatsApp group is also under observation.

A source told us yesterday: “The poor victim of the merciless fat jokes is completely lost.

“She had no idea that her colleagues despised her so much. The cruel comments made her afraid to leave the house. She felt bullied. This was disgusting bullying.”

Cabin crew must be of a certain height and weight to be able to reach the overhead bins and fit into the seats.

The source said the woman, who lives in Wiltshire, knew she needed to lose weight and joined a gym and hired a personal trainer to help her lose weight.

British Airways said: “We have a zero-tolerance approach to bullying and always fully investigate all allegations that come to our attention.”
