Two marked police cars crash during robbery operation in Atlantic City

Two marked police cars were involved in an accident on Friday while on their way to a robbery in Atlantic City.

According to police, the two officers were attempting to get to the scene of the robbery at Park Place. The accident occurred at the corner of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Pacific Avenue.

According to police, “after the first impact, one of the vehicles hit a traffic control element, which fell over and hit the roof of a third vehicle.”

The two officers were taken to hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
