Kaleshwaram PS SI Bhavani Sen arrested for ‘raping’ a police officer

Sen was posted at Kaleshwaram police station when a major reshuffle was carried out after the conclusion of the assembly elections in November 2023 and was working at the police station since then. Goud’s heinous crime came to light when the police officer lodged a complaint with the higher officials.

The senior officials then instructed the Kaleshwaram police station staff to register a case against Goud, who was subsequently arrested. After the arrest of a sub-inspector for sexually harassing a policeman, the police department, which has repeatedly fallen victim to the arrogance of several policemen towards the public, came under severe criticism.

After Goud’s arrest, the department confiscated the weapon in his possession.
