TRAFFIC ALERT | Harris motorcade to halt traffic in Atlanta this afternoon

Vice President Kamala Harris’ motorcade will pass through Atlanta for the second time in the last five days as she heads to two events Tuesday afternoon.

Harris is expected to arrive at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport shortly before 1 p.m. before traveling at 2 p.m. to deliver a speech at hip-hop star Quavo’s Rocket Foundation summit, White House officials said. She will then headline a Juneteenth Block Party just before 4 p.m.

As has been the case during Harris’ previous visits, motorists on highways leaving Hartsfield Jackson International Airport can expect rolling blockages along his route starting around 1 p.m.

Harris will then conclude his visit and leave town just before 5 p.m.

Tuesday marks Harris’ fifth visit to Georgia this year.
