USPS closes offices and stops mail delivery for Juneteenth

(WHNS/Gray News) – The U.S. Postal Service has announced that all post offices will be closed on Juneteenth.

USPS said no mail will be delivered on the holiday, with the exception of Holiday Priority Mail Express.

The Postal Service also announced that all retail stores will be open during regular business hours the next business day, Thursday, June 20.

Postal delivery will also resume on Thursday.

“Customers can continue to order stamps and shipping supplies, print shipping labels, and request package pickup online 24 hours a day, including holidays,” USPS said.
