The director suspects a liar.

Ana De Jesus, principal of Queens HS for the Sciences at York College – one of the city’s nine elite technical colleges – has asked the special prosecutor to investigate whether “someone” placed a dead mouse next to the school secretary’s computer mouse, staffers told The Post.

In a May 22 email to QHSS staff, De Jesus said Secretary Sharda Gosine found the lifeless rodent on her mouse pad that morning:

“I even saw it myself when I came to work,” said the principal, forwarding a photo of the unfortunate creature on the desk.

According to De Jesus, it doesn’t have to be an accident.

“There is a possibility that the mouse was planted by someone,” she wrote. “I have reported this incident to SCI for further investigation.”

The incident “could constitute harassment and the creation of a hostile atmosphere,” De Jesus said.

It is unclear whether the office tasked with investigating DOE employee misconduct will look into the Mousegate scandal.

“SCI has received this complaint and we are currently reviewing the matter to determine next steps,” a spokesman said on Friday.
